this week, my boss is on vacation so i’ve been making my own hours, which means going to bed in the middle of the night and sleeping until about 10 every morning. October thanks: HAYRIDES.
anyone who knows anything about me knows that hayrides are my favorite form of transportation. so, needless to say, i had been looking forward to yesterday for weeks. it was our first hayride of the season, and the 83 degree weather wasn’t going to stop us. (but it definitely slowed us down)
we seemed to be the only 2 people there without children, but we were definitely okay with...

at around 3pm today, i decided to “lay down.” nearly 3 hours later, i have nothing to show for it but toasty tootsies and ice cold hands.

today was pretty crappy to say the least.
but i can say that my (as my dad likes to call them) “warm snuggle clothes” are trying desperately to make it all better. so in honor of their efforts, tonight i am thankful for my thrift store sweatshirt, my sweat pants with the holes, and my worn out grey socks.

This weekend my friend and I played adults and went to a bridal show. We drank punch, tasted cake, and took pictures in a photobooth. The day before, we acted like little girls and had a dance party in the middle of homework that we did not want to do. I’m grateful for this friend.
